New Patients at Atlas Oncology
Here at Atlas Oncology we are always accepting new patients. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer, are seeking a second opinion, or were referred by another physician, we’re happy to welcome you to our Hollywood, Florida practice. We know that visiting a new cancer specialist can feel overwhelming, so we do everything we can to make your first visit as smooth as possible.
Request an AppointmentWhat to Expect at Your First Visit
To save you time on the day of your appointment, we provide new patient forms ahead of time so you can complete them at home. When you arrive, please bring:
- A list of all medications you’re currently taking, including dosages
- Any previous medical records, imaging, or pathology reports related to your diagnosis
- Your insurance information and a photo ID
- A list of questions you’d like to discuss with Dr. Donoway
During your first visit, Robert Donoway, MD, FACS, will review your medical history and imaging in detail, discuss your diagnosis, and explain the treatment options available to you — including minimally invasive approaches like the NanoKnife procedure and cryoablation for cancers that may have been called inoperable elsewhere.
Second Opinions Are Welcome
Many of our new patients come to us specifically for a second opinion after being told by another provider that surgery isn’t an option for their pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, or sarcoma. Because Dr. Donoway specializes in advanced, minimally invasive treatment options, a second opinion consultation may reveal paths forward that weren’t previously discussed. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate care to every patient who walks through our door. For more information or to request an appointment, contact us today at (305) 343 3886.
