What conditions does Atlas Oncology treat?

What is the NanoKnife procedure?

NanoKnife is a minimally invasive cancer treatment that uses irreversible electroporation (IRE) — targeted electrical pulses delivered through thin needle electrodes — to destroy tumor cells without relying on heat, cold, or a scalpel.

What is cryoablation?

Cryoablation uses extreme cold delivered through thin probes to freeze and destroy tumor tissue. It’s often used for tumors that are difficult to reach surgically or in patients who can’t tolerate major surgery.

My cancer was called “inoperable” — do I still have options?

Often, yes. Many of our patients come to us after being told surgery isn’t an option elsewhere. Minimally invasive treatments like NanoKnife can safely reach tumors near major blood vessels and nerves that traditional surgery cannot.
